About Dr. Dana Krafchick

Dr. Krafchick (she/her) is a Board Certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist who has over 30 years of clinical experience working with individuals and families who have a wide range of mental health concerns, including Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and other behavior problems.

The mission of her practice is to assist children, adolescents, and young adults to manage their lives successfully and maximize their potential. The process involves active participation of the identified patient and his/her support system.

Dr. Krafchick provides some psychotherapy as well as medication management, however, her availability for ongoing therapy is limited. To determine whether or not medication treatment is indicated, she conducts a comprehensive assessment of target symptoms and provides detailed information on the benefits and risks of medication so that an individual or a child and his/her parents can determine whether or not that is an option they wish to pursue.
